Botox temporarily relaxes facial muscles, preventing movement in the treated area thus reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Dermal fillers FILL lost volume. Dermal fillers are used to add volume (like lips), restore lost volume seen in aging, smooth out existing wrinkles, and enhance facial features like the lips, cheeks, chin and jawline.

Botox typically lasts 3 months, can be for a shorter duration during the summer and can be longer in the winter months.

While dermal fillers can last from 9 months to 2 years, depending on the area treated.

Botox is considered safe. However, there may be minor side effects like bruising, swelling, or possible headache. Rare cases a client pay experience some undesired facial symmetry, again extremely rare. 

Dermal Fillers are also safe when used by a trained and experienced practitioner. There are risks of temporary swelling, bruising, or allergic reactions. In Rare cases, uneven consolidation of the filler, vascular occlusion, which we dealt at the time of procedure, potential migration, and then rare cases infection of the filler.

Botox usually takes about 15 minutes, perhaps longer depending on the area and amount of product used.

Dermal Fillers usually take about 30-40 minutes which includes the time it takes to numb the area to be treated. Again, perhaps longer depending on the area and amount of product used or if we are treating multiple areas. 

Botox results are usually visible within 3-7 days, with maximal effect at ~14 days. 

Dermal Fillers provide immediate results, though full effects with the product settling in it may take approximately upto a week.

A consultation will help determine if you’re a candidate. Generally, people looking to reduce wrinkles or enhance facial features are good candidates.

Pregnant or Breastfeeding Women

People with Allergies to Ingredients

People with Neurological Conditions: Myasthenia Gravis, Multiple Sclerosis, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), should avoid Botox, as it can worsen their symptoms.

Those with Active Skin Infections or Inflammation

People with Blood Clotting Disorders

People Taking Blood Thinners or Certain Medications

People with Unrealistic Expectations

People with Certain Chronic Health Conditions

People Who Have Had Recent Facial Surgery

Underage Patients

The amount will depend on the area treated, this can be further discussed on consultation.

The costs vary based on the product, amount used, and location of the clinic. Botox is usually priced per unit, while fillers are priced per syringe.

While they can't stop aging, Botox and fillers can prevent deeper wrinkles from forming and improve the appearance of existing lines.
